The Authentists group

The wine production of the Authentists group can be metaphorically compared to a play on period instruments. They focus on traditional locations and grape varieties native to central Europe. They prefer wood to stainless steel and are very much aware of the importance of the presence of the autochthonous micro organisms during the process of winemaking. The Authenticates´ main aim is wine, which reflects the spirit of the vineyard formed by the hands of a sensitive vintner. The Authentists are a small group of winemakers, some of which possess only half a hectare of vineyards. These are wines of great personality. These are often very distinct, very different wines from the mainstream production.
